She graduated with a doctorate of dental surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and an advanced degree in general dentistry from Temple University in Philadelphia. With advanced training in general and cosmetic dentistry and nine years managing private practices throughout the Midwest, she realized her dream by opening her private practice in the Lowcountry 14 years ago. Her office is located on Chuck Dawley Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. As the only practicing dentist in the office, Dr. Garner relies on a superb team of five highly qualified dental professionals to help provide the excellent care she demands for her patients. “I have a talented team, and together we have created a friendly and relaxed environment for our patients focused on the best standard of care possible,” she said. Though Dr. Garner has been in private practice for many years, she continues to pursue further education to enhance her skills. “I commit to about 100 hours of advanced education annually to improve my expertise and learn the latest techniques and materials available for dentistry. I also continually devote time to Dr. Frank Spear’s hands-on workshops in Scottsdale, Arizona, to practice advanced techniques for dental occlusion and cosmetic dentistry. I am also an active member of the highly respected Seattle Study Club, which is a professional association of dentists committed to the advancement of dental excellence. These hands-on professional development pursuits result in the best possible care and choices for our patients.” Dr. Garner has a deep passion for what she does and always puts the needs of her patients first.
